Modern science is progressing at a very alarming rate, with new milestones being reached with each passing week. The scientist who carried out the study said that “6-Shagoal” can cause cell destruction in a wide range of cancer cells including colorectal carcinoma, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, hepatocarcinoma and and breast cancer cells.

As is usually the case with most authentic scientific studies carried out on natural cancer treatments, the 6-Shagoal contained in ginger root displays the wonderful ability to attack and destroy cancerous cells without harming healthy cells at all. However, even with this encouraging news, it is important to note that in order for a substance to be officially recognized as a cure for disease, it has to undergo a very long and tedious process for certification. So, more human trials would have to be carried out before it is accepted as a potent cure for cancer.

This amazing discovery would lead people to start including ginger in their daily diet. But it should be noted that the important ingredient 6-Shagoal compound has to be preserved in the ginger root. A whole foods method is therefore advised to make sure that it is not denatured. The most effective way to incorporate ginger root into your diet is to consume fresh ginger tea. This can be prepared by soaking fresh, diced ginger in hot water for about 10 minutes before drinking it.

Ginger has been used as a natural medicine in different cultures for thousands of years. These recent discoveries only confirm the benefits our ancestors knew about long ago.
